  1. trueColor

  3. trueColor provides an intuitive way to work in color in HyperCard.
  4.  
  5. You can give buttons and fields colors and color pictures.
  6. Buttons can have color icons.
  7.  
  8. You can cut, copy and paste color pictures and icons
  9. to and from the clipboard.
  10. You can move fields and buttons in color.
  11.  
  12. The information about the color properties is
  13. stored within the buttons and fields,
  14. so eg. moving a button with a color icon
  15. requires only to move the button, 
  16. not the button first, and then a color overlay.
  17.  
  18. trueColor consists of the "trueColor" stack,
  19. a help stack "trueHelp" with extensive documentation,
  20. and this "read me" file.

  22. trueColor requires HyperCard 2.2 or later*,
  23. a 68020 processor or higher (including any PowerPC processor).
  24. Some features require 32-Bit QuickDraw (included in Sys 7).

  26. * trueColor runs very slowly on PowerMacs in Hypercard 2.2
  27. if you have Connectix SpeedDoubler installed.
